He is survived by: his wife Marion Gravely Hairston; his sons, Quincy Hairston and Bryan Hairston (Britany); and his siblings, Janet Dillard, Alice Hughes (John), Sammy Hairston (Arnette), Fred Hairston (Sheda) and Anthony Hairston (Kathy).
