It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby Geraldean Wright of Martinsville, Virginia, who passed away on April 22, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Sturgill and Minnie Spurlin Sturgill; her children, Renae Wright, Michael Wright and Terry Wright; and her brother Jerry Sturgill.
She is survived by: her children, Debra Haskins and Charlie C. Wright, Jr.; her sister Gayle Adams (Mike); and her grandchildren, April Wright, Lori Hundley, Amanda Tate, Kaila Haskins, Lee Mason, Amber Drawbaugh and Ashley Wright. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Wright Funeral Service Chapel (1425 Greensboro Rd, Martinsville, VA 24112).
