He is survived by: his wife Vera Thomas Reynolds; his children, Lisa Preston (Terry) and Roy Dewight Reynolds; his adoptive children, Vera "Nikki" Thomas and Eric Thomas; his grandchildren, Telesa Reynolds and Christopher DeQuan Hairston; and his great grandchildren, Jameer Reynolds, Jysiere Reynolds, Amagyn Reynolds, Dearelajay Hodge, Jr., Demarlo Hodge and Truth Reynolds Hodge. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
