He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Roy Morris and Virginia Katherine Tatum Morris; his sister Doris Jean Morris Pearman; and his sister-in-law Purnell Mills Morris. He is survived by: his wife Janet Morton Morris; his children, Susan Morris Culbertson of Roanoke, Virginia and Steven Douglas "Steve" Morris (Rita) of Ridgeway, Virginia; his grandsons, Bradley A. Morris (Sara) of Martinsville, Stuart P. Culbertson of Westfield and Jason L. Morris (Taylor) of Ridgeway, Virginia; his great grandchildren, Sadie, Easton and Braxton; his siblings, Jane Morris Smith (Francis) and J. Raymond Morris, Sr.; and his brother-in-law W. W. "Bill" Pearman (Jean).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:50 PM at the Collins-McKee-Stone Funeral Home (9 Broad St, Martinsville, VA 24112). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
