We are sad to announce that on February 19, 2024, at the age of 85, Rosie A. Rumley (Martinsville, Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cooper Rumley and Annie Mae Rumley; her husband James Curtis Rumley; her grandson Osha Hughes; and her siblings, Charlotte Draper, Virginia Martin, George Junior Clanton and Larry Clanton.
She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Long of Martinsville, VA, Clinton Rumley (Trudy) of Bassett, VA, James Rumley of Collinsville, VA, David Rumley (Wendy) of Conway, SC and John Gravely of Martinsville, VA; her aunt Rachel Penn of Stuart, VA; and her close friend Dorothy Turner of Martinsville, VA. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren.
