She was predeceased by: her parents, James Elbert Koger and Ruth Ann Smith Koger; and her siblings, Shirley Ann Glenn-Koger and Delano Elbert Koger. She is survived by: her close friend Robert Lee Glenn; her children, Lauralee Ann Koger and James Lee Alexander Koger; her siblings, Verna Mae Zapata (Francisco), Debra Jean Koger, Nancy Gale Koger, Felicia Jewett (Greg) and Michael A. Koger (Lois); her grandchildren, Antonio Tre'von Muse and Applania Denae Gravely; her great grandchildren, Kali Zy'n-Amir Muse and Y'veon Zeureh Muse; her aunt Virginia Koger; and her sister-in-law Janny Koger. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
