He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Fentress Chapman; his children, Elizabeth Lester Chapman and Greg Sandefur Chapman; his grandson Connor Brooks McKeithan; his pet Gunner; his cousins, Al Hicks (Jane) and Mary Frances Theobald; and his siblings-in-law, Janet Fentress, Mary Anne Matherly (Mike) and Stewart Fentress (Cindy). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church of Martinsville (146 E Main St, Martinsville, VA 24112).
