He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Gardner Phillips; his children, Roxie Smerecki (Randy) and Adam Gardner; and his brothers, Samuel David Phillips (Margaret), Matthew Dale Phillips and Mark Allen Phillips (Jennifer). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
