He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Ted Turner and Lena Parsons Turner; his sister Alice Turner Brown (Buck); and his grandson Joseph Martin Turner. He is survived by: his wife Diona Mitchell Turner; his son Robert A. "Tony" Turner (Jan); his grandson Robert Mitchell Turner (Morgan); his great grandchildren, Robert William Turner and Cooper James Turner; and his sister Judith "Judy" Saunders (Buddy). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
