He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Grant and Maggie Jones Grant; and his siblings, Lizzie Mae Grant, Mary M. Grant, Jerome, Nathaniel (Wine), Willie Lee (Boo), James Howard Grant and Frank E. Grant.
He is survived by: his sister Gaynell Dozier of Martinsville, VA; and his aunt Bernice Monroe of Axton, VA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
