Stone, Jr. and Catherine Roy Stone; his siblings, Stone, III and Will; his sister-in-law Rebecca Robbe Stone; his nieces and nephews, Sally Katherine of Fayetteville, GA, Courtney Ellen Stone of Fayetteville, GA, Natalie Rebecca Stone of Fayetteville, GA and Ivey Eleanor Stone of Fayetteville, GA; his uncles, Charles M. (Nancy Black Stone), Charles T. (Janeice Wright Roy, Jr.) and John E. (Eleanor); and his aunt Mary Ellen Purner Stone of Martinsville. He is also survived by friends.
