She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold Simpkins and Berda Ellis Simpkins; her son Scott Dean Helbert; and her sister Belle Jane White. She is survived by: her son Brian R. Helbert, Sr.; and her siblings, Geneva Ellen Hess and Albert Henry Simpkins. She is also survived by six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
