She is survived by: her daughters, Dawn Johnson Campbell (Corey) of Richmond, VA, Shannon Johnson Bowen (Aaron) of Chicago, IL and Ashley Johnson Brown (Daniel) of Chesapeake, VA; her brothers, Samuel Hairston (Mary) of Preston, VA and Reverend Joe Lewis Hairston of Martinsville, VA; her nieces, Priscilla Hodge Johnson (John) of Charlottesville, VA, Ethel La'Verne Hodge of Martinsville, VA, Gladys King of Axton, VA and Reba Childress of Richmond, VA; her great-nieces, Amber Hairston of Martinsville, VA and Priscilla Adair Hodge of Alexandria, VA; her nephew Douglas Wayne Hairston of Martinsville, VA; her sisters-in-law, Henrietta Mack of Newark, NJ and Lillian Hairston of Philadelphia, PA; and her close friends, Christine Jones of Martinsville, VA, Herbert Hairston of Martinsville, VA, Zelma Barksdale of Martinsville, VA and Sharrika Kent of Martinsville, VA. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
