He is survived by: his son Kirk Athey; his grandchildren, Brooke, Morgan, Anthony, Courtney and Eric; his great grandchildren, Cameron, Kendall, Caden, Isaac, Dawson, Tucker, Maisie and Aubrey; and his sisters, Sherry Holden (Donald), Roxanna Simmons and Mary Bennett. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
