Carter (Martinsville, Virginia), born in Axton, Virginia, who passed away on May 29, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Onie E. Carter and Geneva Cunningham Carter; her husband Joe Willie Davis; her daughter Barbara Jean D. Hairston (Curtis); and her siblings, Johnnie P. Carter, Albert Lee Carter, William T. Carter, James O. Carter, Betty Jean Carter and Alma Jean Carter.
She is survived by: her children, Eva Marie Perkins (Perk), Albert Davis (Ruby) and Brenda Holland (Buck); her siblings, Jay Carter, Owney Carter, Jr., Carolyn Adell Dillard and Patricia Martin; and her sisters-in-law, Lillie Bell Wade, Ruberina Carter and Carol Carter. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; ten great great grandchildren; and numerous relatives and friends.
In accordance with the CDC, a face covering, and social distancing is required.
