With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Orita Hairston of Martinsville, Virginia, who passed away on September 3, 2021 at the age of 61. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her brothers, Cecil Wimbush and Carl Manns. She is survived by: her daughter Letoya Hairston of Charlotte, NC; her grandchildren, Trinity Adams and Andre Adams, Jr.; her close friend Melvin Redd of Bassett; and her siblings, Thomas Hairston (Donna) of Collinsville, Timothy Hairston of Bassett, Sanford Hairston of Cascade, Hue Manns (Theressia) of Bassett, Dorethea Hairston of Bassett, Nancy Hairston of Collinsville, Vernese Smith (Dennis) of Rocky Mount, Bettie Hairston of Collinsville, Wanda Dunn (James) of Rocky Mount and Lena Lee (Donald) of Rocky Mount. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousin and friends.
