With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nelson Wayne Priddy (Martinsville, Virginia), born in Danbury, North Carolina, who passed away on April 26, 2019 at the age of 80. He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Jones Priddy and Rachel Lou Nelson Priddy; his great grandchild Keira Crawford; and his brothers, Norman Priddy, Carl Jones Priddy and James Ronnie Priddy.

He is survived by: his wife Frances Mullins Priddy; his daughters, Jessica Rea (David) of Ridgeway, Renee Custer of Martinsville and Marianne Spencer (Justin) of Bassett; his grandchildren, Amber Cochran, Courtney Crawford (Jamie), Scout Custer, Hailey Spencer and Jacob Spencer; his great grandchildren, Micah Pinnix, Cayden Cochran, Kiya Crawford and Khalyl Crawford; and his sister Barbara Hodnett (Phillip). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
