She was predeceased by: her parents, Sally Wall Compton and William Riley Compton; her husband Samuel Walter Lovell, Jr.; and her siblings, James William Compton, Henry Clay Compton, Mamie C. Wilson, Mattie C. Davis, Frances C. Moore and Vergie C. Herndon. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
