She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Ed and Mary Mullins Chitwood; and her husband Jennings C "Pete" Atkins. She is survived by: her daughters, Sue A. Kinack (Tom), Jean A. Shifflette and Sarah A. DiGregorio (Charlie); her grandchildren, Kera Kinack, Nathan Shifflette (Brogan) and Savannah DiGregorio; her pet Spotty; and her friends, Sheila Adkins and Timmy Powell. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
