It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Monroe Lawrence Bryant (Martinsville, Virginia), who passed away at the age of 89, on January 10, 2020. He was predeceased by: his wife Alice Byrd Bryant; his siblings, Aileen Hughes, Ocie Wishon, Vergie Simms, Virginia Ruth Bryant, Ruby Ziglar, Mildred Hancock, Clarence, Roy, George and Harden Bryant; and his siblings-in-law, Frances Ann Nelson and William Lewis Byrd.

He is survived by: his children, Debbie Tibbetts (Jack), Peggy McAlexander (Larry), Donnie Bryant (Pauline) and David Bryant (Brenda); his brother Curtis Bryant; and his sister-in-law Nancy Louise Bauer. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Chatham Heights Baptist Church, 1235 Chatham Heights Road, Martinsville, VA 24112 or Mountain Valley Hospice & Palliative Care, 730 E. Church Street, #13, Mart.
