We are sad to announce that on October 9, 2021, at the age of 63, Melvin Cornell Menefee of Martinsville, Virginia, born in Franklin, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernell Menefee and Ocie Stanley Menefee; and his daughter Keysha Thomas. He is survived by: his children, Destiny Thomas, Latasha Thomas, Brittany Thomas, Jasmine Thomas, Michael Thomas, Eric Thomas, Brandon Thomas, Melvin Thomas, Antwan Thomas, Layfette Thomas and Deonte Thomas; his siblings, Ladonna Menefee, Chris Menefee and Robin Menefee; and his goddaughter Jerica Stanley. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
