She was predeceased by: her parents, Florence E. Johnson and Frank L. Johnson; her husband Stuard M. Nester; her siblings, Wilma Jean Comer (Bonds), Alice Jones, Reba Oberndorfer, Iona Oliver and Frank L. Johnson, Jr.; and her son-in-law Brown Lee Martin, Jr..
She is survived by: her daughters, Deborah Martin of Salem, Dawn Witt (Milford) of Martinsville and Diane Laws (Philip) of Tennessee; her grandchildren, Angela Beam (Jeff), Curtis Witt (Jennifer), Paige Scott (Keith), Jonathan Witt (Corrinne) and Jennifer Yeaman (Johnny); her great grandchildren, Tyler Beam (Rachel), Jessica Beam, Nicholas Witt, Michael Witt, Morgan Scott, Mallory Scott, Megan Scott, Lucas Witt and Lillian Witt; and her sister-in-law Norma P. Johnson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews; and great nieces and nephews.
