She was predeceased by: her parents, Marie M. Hodge and John Henry Hodge; and her husband Robert Lee Walker. She is survived by: her sons, Roderick, Robert and Richard Walker; her grandchildren, Tracy Walker, Stacy Walker (Richard Walker, Jr.) and Dont; her great grandchildren, Traylon Ingram of Henry County, Kiara Brown of Henry County, Xavyanna Hairston of Henry County and Destiny Walker of Henry County; her sisters, Lillie Williams of Irvington, NJ and Annie Lee-Rock of Martinsville, VA; her stepdaughter Terrie Stovall of Martinsville, VA; and her niece Nikki Wells of Irvington, NJ. She is also survived by four great nieces, one great nephew.

The public viewing will be held on Monday, July 20, 2020, at 1:00 p. m. until 5:00 p. m., with the CDC guidelines for COVID19 for wearing a face mask and social distancing.
