She was predeceased by: her parents, George Madison Butler and Eva Fagg Butler; her husband Alfred Lee Johnson; her siblings, Kenneth Butler and Virginia Pratt; and her niece DeeDee Gilley.
She is survived by: her daughter Sandy; her son-in-law Tim Gary; her grandchildren, Mason Lee Gary (Kaylyn) and Taylor Jo Gary (Rylan); and her siblings, George Butler (Patsy), Eddie Butler (Patricia) and Pam Robertson (Kenny). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM at the Fort Trial Baptist Church (170 Oak Level Rd, Stanleytown, VA 24168). A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 5:30 PM at the same location.
