She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Lisa Wade, Lori Carter (John Carter, III) of Reidsville, Jim Wade (Janis Hopkins) of Eden and Kirk Wade (Sandie) of Eden; her grandchildren, Eli Roach (LeAnne), Caleb Wade, John Carter IV, Luke Carter, Danielle Craven, Tyler Wade (Melissa), Landon Wade and Josie Wade; her great grandchildren, Macee, Kynlee, Paxton Wade, Ryder Craven and Ayla Bailey; and her siblings, Lynda Burnette (Jim) of Eden and Mike Farabee (Martha) of Winston-Salem.
