She is survived by: her children, Glenda Via Saunders, Margaret "Cheryl" Via, Carol Via Broadnax (Marcus), Kenneth Edward Via (late Shirley), Thomas Henry Via, Joseph (Ahmedta) and Allen Via; and her siblings, Reba D. Hairston and Charles Dandridge (Priscilla). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
