She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Seay and Lizzie Oliver Seay; her husband Harry Graham Hancock; her children, Nancy Lee Mays and James "Larry" Hancock; and her granddaughter Jennifer Lee Hale.

She is survived by: her children, Jo Ann Nichols (Jim) and Robert "Bobby" Hancock; her daughter-in-law Shirley Hancock; and her grandchildren, Lisa Baldo (Mike), Ludy Scouras (Pete), Tony Hancock (Gail), Mark Hancock (Lee), Rob Hancock and Susan Martin. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
