With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lynn L. McDonaldson of Martinsville, Virginia, who passed away on September 5, 2023 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John B. McDonaldson and Mary Bell Long McDonaldson; and her brother Allen F. McDonaldson. She is survived by: her spouse Oberta McDonaldson of Colonial Heights, Virginia; her daughter Sharon Beam (Darrell); her stepdaughter Jamie L. Driggs; her sister Teresa Dellinger; her grandchildren, Candace Martin, Caitlyn Driggs and Wyatt Driggs; her great grandchildren, Teagan Beam and Isabella Nicole; her close friend Sue Forrest; and her pets, Sadie and Lucy. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, very good friends.
