Lucy Jane Hodge Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 9, 2021, at the age of 92, Lucy Jane Hodge (Martinsville, Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Reverend James C. Hairston and Luebertha Tate Hairston; her husband Jessie Olden Hodge; her son Jessie Alphonsa Hodge; her granddaughter LaToi Pace; and her siblings, Dora Lee Hairston, Lillie Bell Moyer, Josephine Hairston, Mamie Hairston, James W. Hairston, Henry Jack Hairston and Franklin Hairston.
She is survived by: her daughters, Priscilla Hodge Johnson (John) of Charlottesville, VA and Ethel Laverne Hodge of Martinsville, VA; her daughter-in-law Lois Hodge of Maryland; and her siblings, Patricia Johnson of Martinsville, VA, Reverend Joe Lewis Hairston of Martinsville, VA and Samuel Hairston of Preston, VA. She is also survived by three grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In accordance with the CDC, a face covering and social distancing is required.
