It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Loretta E. Long (Martinsville, Virginia), born in Bluefield, West Virginia, who passed away on October 15, 2021, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Long, Sr. and Frances Martin Long; her sisters, Karen Stockton and Estella Niblett (Michael Reynolds); and her great-grandparents, Elder Josh and Eva Lowe Hairston.
She is survived by: her daughter Sherikita Long of Ridgeway, VA; her granddaughter Karri Long of Ridgeway, VA; her siblings, Mary McAllister of Greensboro, NC, Connie Jones of Martinsville, VA, Alanna Mitchell of Martinsville, VA, Robert Long, Jr. of Martinsville, VA, Anthony Long, Sr. of Martinsville, VA and Minister Earnest Long of Martinsville, VA; her aunts, Barbara Martin of Bluefield, VA and Annie Bell Morrison of Martinsville, VA; and her uncle James Elston of Roanoke, VA. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In accordance with CDC guidelines a face covering, and social distancing is required.
