With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lloyd Thomas Burge of Martinsville, Virginia, born in Stuart, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 23, 2024 at the age of 93. Though Lloyd Thomas may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Lloyd Thomas touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie A. Burge and Bessie Lawson Burge; and his brother Paul D. Burge. He is survived by: his wife Regina Burge; his daughters, Sharon Kaye McCraw (Mike) and Teresa Dodson (Chad); his granddaughter Crystal Mae Dodson; his great grandchildren, Amillia Mae Dodson and Abigail Renee Dodson; and his brother John D. Burge.
