She is survived by: her daughter Carol Vernon of Pittsburgh, PA; her grandchildren, Jocelyn Vernon, Brandon Hairston of Oakland, CA, Daryl Turner of Martinsville, VA and Dea Turner of Lake Hiawatha, NJ; and her stepsons, Johnny Moore of Long Island, NY and Melvin Moore of Greensboro, NC. She is also survived by six great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
