We are sad to announce that on October 30, 2024, at the age of 77, Leon Price Janey Sr. of Martinsville, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Leon Price may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Leon Price touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Sr. Janey and Bessie Swiney Janey. He is survived by: his wife Sherry Cherry Janey; his son Leon Price, Jr.; his daughter-in-law Christa Janey; his daughter Robin Janey; his son-in-law R. G. Markham; his siblings, Roy Janey, Jr. and Emilie Reed; and his grandchildren, Brantley Janey, Danile Petit and Alicia Quintero.
