He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Fackler and Louella Bradner Fackler; and his wife Colene Lawrence Fackler. He is survived by: his children, Donna Byrd (Ricky), Vickie McDaniel (Ricky), Lindy Collins, Kelly Fackler, Jerry Fackler (Mary), Jeff Fackler (Lisa) and Barry Fackler (Cindy); and his siblings, Loretta Compton, Cora Jane Harris, Jeanette Smith, Connie Smith and Orie Fackler. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and eighteen great-grandchildren.
