It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lena Dandridge Millner (Martinsville, Virginia), born in Henry County, Virginia, who passed away on September 4, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clem Dandridge and Nannie Hairston Dandridge; her husband Reverend James E. Millner; and her siblings, Jimmat, David, Clem Dandridge, Rosa Bowe and Katherine Martin.

She is survived by: her children, Linda Jones of Richmond, Dona Whitfield (Kirby) of Roanoke, Ariel Millner of Martinsville and James E. Millner (Jewell) of Greensboro, NC; and her sister-in-law Ida B. McCollum of Richmond. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
