With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kirby Phillips (Martinsville, Virginia), born in Floyd, Virginia, who passed away on March 22, 2020 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Phillips and Ocie Phillips; and his brother Charlie J. Phillips. He is survived by: his sons, Robert Lee Phillips (Bonnie), Samuel David Phillips (Margaret), Matthew Dale Phillips and Mark Allan Phillips (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Roxie Smerecki (Randy), Sara Michelle Phillips, Rebecca Phillips Dodson (Clint), Hayleigh Elizabeth Worgan (Nick), Rachel Dawn Phillips, Lindsey Elexa Phillips, Nikki Rhea Phillips, Adam Gardener, Genny Alexander Phillips, Olivia Faith Phillips and Elijah Ben Phillips; his great grandchildren, Teagan Marlin Phillips, Savannah Gantt, Kolby David Walthall, Elizabeth Gantt, Kennedy Dodson and Lily Nell Phillips; and his siblings, Ralph Phillips, James C. Phillips, Ruby McDaniel and Tinesta Nester.
