With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Kingston James Hairston (Martinsville, Virginia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 9, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Kingston James farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Kingston James is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his sister Charlotte Tuner Hairston; and his grandparents, Estella Nibblet, Jesse Hairston and Sallie Hagwood. He is survived by: his mother Jessica Daniell Hairston; his godmother Breonna Beam; his siblings, Janiyah Massey-Hairston, Kenyan Massey-Hairston and Kereem Coles; and his grandfather Lloyd Hagwood.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Hairston Family Cemetery.
