She is survived by: her children, Pamela Kathryn Sparrow McCauley (John Thomas McCauley, Jr.) of Charlottesville and Charles Kavanaugh Sparrow, Jr.; her husband Michael Powers; her stepgranddaughter Genieve Boutemy; and her great grandchildren, Alexander John Garing, Luke Wyatt Powers, Emma Kathryn Garing and Abigail Carrington Powers.
