She was predeceased by: her brother Stephen Poole. She is survived by: her parent Fred Phillips; her spouse Gary Linwood Carr; her children, Jennifer Bruning, Jonathan Poole of Greensboro, NC and James Lee Wright; her stepson G. W. Carr; and her mother Kate Poole of Greensboro, NC.
