She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Oliver Gravely and Audrey Lee Eggleston Gravely; her husband William Henry Hairston; and her siblings, Olivia Gravely, James Gravely, Clayborn Gravely, Eugene Gravely and Lamei.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Hairston (Freddie), Sherry Carter, Cutrena Allen (Larry), Elvis Hairston (Cleo) and Errol Hairston; and her siblings, Della Mae Gravely and Reverend David Gravely (Mary). She is also survived by seven grandchildren; and thirteen great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 5:00 PM and on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Wright Funeral Service Chapel (1425 Greensboro Rd, Martinsville, VA 24112). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
