It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Johnny Franklin Reed of Martinsville, Virginia, born in Welch, West Virginia, who passed away on May 6, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Reed and Margaret Reynolds Reed. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Patterson Reed; his children, Heather Reed Rakes (Anthony) and John Franklin Reed (Carol); his sisters, Molly Shelton (Mike) and Ginger Agee (Mike); and his grandsons, Eli Rakes, Landon Reed and Collin Reed. He is also survived by five nieces.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in memory of Mr. Reed to Mountain Valley Hospice, 730 E. Church Street, Martinsville, VA 24112.
