He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kemper Ramey and Dovie Bell Slate. He is survived by: his children, Lynn Ramey, Bruce Ramey (Mary Lou), Jackie Ramey (Darlene Cooper), Rick Ramey and John Ramey (Ryan); and his grandchildren, Michelle Roddy (Michael), Chris Ramey (Tori), Logan Ramey, Michael, Sarah, Joshua, David, Connor Ramey and Abigayle Ramey. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Norris Funeral Services & Crematory - Martinsville Chapel (1500 Kings Mountain Rd, Martinsville, VA 24115).
