With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John M Richardson Jr. of Martinsville, Virginia, who passed away on May 10, 2023 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John M. Richardson, Sr. and Rebecca Martin Richardson; his son Jason Speakman; and his sister Becky Greer. He is survived by: his wife Doris Richardson of Martinsville, VA.; his sons, David Richardson, Sandy of Martinsville, Robby (Lisa) of Yorktown, Ron Speakman, Jr. (Cathy) of Marietta and Alan of Collinsville; and his caregivers, Dr. O'Neil, Dr. O'Connell, Dr. Parikh, Dani, Hope, James, Lessie, Sean, Angela and Hayes. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, family suggest donations to be made to Hillcrest Baptist Baptist Church, Ridgeway, VA and/or Grace Network.
