He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Clyde Adams, Sr. and Myrtle May Jones Adams; his wife Freda Primm Adams; his son Jesse Daniel Adams II; and his siblings, Thomas Clyde Adams Jr., Dorothy A.'Dot'Mason, James Thomas Adams, Benjamin Robert Adams, Virginia A. Patterson and Frances A. Wheeler.

He is survived by: his daughters, Julie L. Kitzmiller (Robert) and Leslie Adams Rakes; his grandchildren, Ashley K. Dillon (Brad), Colton R. Kitzmiller and Hayden L. Kitzmiller; and his close friend Judy Hale. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and other special family members.
