With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James H. Stone Jr. of Martinsville, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 23, 2024 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Billie Jacqueline Stone (Hairston) and James H. Stone, Sr. of Martinsville, VA; and his brother C. Nathaniel Stone (Desmond Myles Jenkins) of Columbus, OH. He is survived by: his daughter Sherri Stone Jenkins of Raleigh, NC; his granddaughter Amber Sierra Jenkins of Raleigh, NC; and his siblings, Cynthia Stone of Columbus, OH, Stephanie Spencer (Ron) of Richmond, VA, John Gregory Stone (Anke) of Heidelberg and Nachor S. Stone (Tia) of Martinsville, VA..
A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hairston Funeral Home (301 Fayette St, Martinsville, VA 24112).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in his honor to the American Diabetes Association.
