He was predeceased by: his parents, James Fountain, Sr. and Mary Lee Pinkard Fountain; and his sister Gaynell Knight. He is survived by: his wife Lois Hightower Fountain; his children, Latoshua LaGrant (Mauice), Cory Fountain and Keena Jamal Harris; his niece Brenda Harrington; his nephew Anthony Stevens; and his grandchildren, Victoria LaGrant, Tamern LaGrant and Julian Agee.
