She is survived by: her daughters, Memoree Briana Scales of Martinsville and Kristen Michaela Scales of Ridgeway, Virginia; her siblings, Laura Scales of Ridgeway, Virginia and Scotty Scales of Martinsville; her grandchildren, Isaiah Scales, Arrianna Scales and London Scales; her niece Erica Perkins-Redd; her nephews, Shawn Scales and Justin Scales; and her close friend Rhonda Brown of Danbury.
