He was predeceased by: his parents, William Robinette Kiser and Florence Linticum Kiser. He is survived by: his wife Carole; his children, Bill, John and Beth; his grandchildren, Jack, Olivia, Linus and Augusta; and his brother William.

A private service will be held due to COVID-19 restrictions.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Forest Hills Presbyterian Church, St. Andrews Catholic Church, or St. Jude Children's Hospital.

“Mrs. Kiser and family. I am very saddened to hear of Judge Kiser's passing. I worked for him and with him as U. S. Probation Officer in Danville. I will never forget the time you and Judge Kiser hosted the Danville court family at your home for a Christmas celebration. It was very memorable. He was an incredible man of character and I will never forget him. Anne and I send our sincere condolences to you and your family. I know he will be missed. He exemplified intelligence, integrity, empathy, and humility. My wife knew Judge Kiser as a nervous character witness in a criminal case. He recognized that and took the time to relieve her stress. He asked her what it was like to be a church organist and play such a magnificent instrument. Says a lot about Jack”
