Carter; his brother Bishop Christopher Carter; his daughters, Cha Yvonne Carter-Randle (Corey) of Houston, TX, Tina Emery (Carl) of Alderley Edge and England (Miriam Aniyah Grace Carter); and his siblings, Fredrick Carter (Pamela) of Martinsville, VA, Dianne E. Hale of Columbus Ohio, Donna of Martinsville, VA, Debra Martin of Martinsville, VA and Rhonda Teague (Larry) of Martinsville, VA. He was also cherished by five grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at 1:00 p. m. at The C. R. V. Memorial Chapel at Hairston Funeral Home with Elder Courtney Stockton, Officiating, with the guidelines of the CDC due to COVID 19.
