With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Howard Fain of Martinsville, Virginia, born in Stuart, Virginia, who passed away on February 19, 2021 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Cabell Fain and Elva Vipperman Fain; his wife Patsy Sigmon Fain; his stepson Ted Hall; and his siblings, Charles Fain, Jimmy Fain, Opal F. Martin, Katherine F. Lovell, Betty F. Garrett and Maxine F. Storey.
He is survived by: his children, Vicki L. Fain (Bruce M. Frederick, Jr.) of Check and Jeffrey Howard Fain (Vickie) of Bassett; his grandchildren, Carol Lynn Adkins (Matt Wynn), Jamie Fain (Kayla) and Joseph Fain (Patricia); his great grandchildren, Jackson, Emma, Ava and Jett; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Mason and Olivia. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
